FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for detoxification of water bodies and purification of sewage waters, polluted with arsenic salts. To realised claimed method detoxification of sewage waters is carried out with application of sorbing materials, consisting of thermally and chemically modified zeolite. Zeolite is annealed for 4 hours at 250-300°C and additionally soaked with working solution of the following composition: 5 g of (NH2)2CO, 5 g of NH4NO3, 40 ml of distilled water, 2.5 g of MnSO4, 7.5 ml of humic preparation, obtained by wet alkaline extraction from oxidised leonardite.
EFFECT: method provides high efficiency in purification of waters with high concentration of arsenic ions, where chemical reagents for modification in addition to being non-toxic are the most important components of mineral feeding and stimulators of growth of microorganisms, taking part in biodestruction of sewage water components.
