SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of applied ecology, in particular to a method for obtaining a composite sorbent based on potassium polytitanate and polyvinyl butyral, intended for purification of industrial waste water from heavy metal ions. Disclosed is a polymer sorption composite for cleaning waste water from heavy metal ions, consisting of 50–70 wt. % polyvinyl butyral and 30–50 wt. % potassium polytitanate, and a method of producing a polymer sorption composite material.

EFFECT: technical result is obtaining sorption material from low-risk components with lower labour costs.
