FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking and can be used for production of sandwiched panels from sheets. Vertical press comprises the frame, support plate, portal and pressure plate. Columns are installed between portal props and connected with portal crossbar and said frame. Columns are provided with guides for vertical reciprocation of carriages. Supports are secured at said carriages and interconnected, provided with strut and horizontal belt rigidly secured at said carriage. Pressure plate is connected with the support horizontal belt. Support ends extending beyond said carriage are coupled with nuts of screw-nut pairs. Lead screws of said pairs are identical and have their ends articulated with the brackets arranged at column top and bottom. Lead screw lower ends have identical mutually engaged sprockets and engaged with sprocket fitted on reduction gear shaft. Said shaft is engaged by belt gearing with reversing motor drive.

EFFECT: stack gluing process combined in time with preparation for gluing and unloading.
