SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fish farming and may be used for transportation and storage of live larvae, juvenile and adult fish. The method provides maintenance of live fish in a tank with water containing alkaline phosphate buffer in an amount of 7 or 7.5 g per 6 litres of water and aqueous solution of 6% hydrogen peroxide. The water in the tank is continuously filtered and sanitized. The aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide is added repeatedly in a single dose of 0.2 ml/kg of fish, the adding is performed to the filtered intake water each time no later than 40 seconds after the onset of high disordered motor activity of fish. The motor activity of fish is continuously evaluated by motion detectors and surveillance video cameras. Water filtration is carried out using a filter with a flow rate of not less than 0.00025 l/min.

EFFECT: invention enables to improve the efficiency and safety of transportation and storage of live fish.
