FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to emergency medical care, resuscitation and clinical pharmacology. A method of using a drug preparation having an alkaline activity within the pH range of 8.4-8.5, osmotic activity of 280-300 mOsmol/l of water, containing 4.5 % hydrogen peroxide, 1.8% sodium bicarbonate and water for injections, which is solution with volume of 100 ml at a temperature of +37 °C, for emergency elimination of asphyxia includes endobronchial introduction of medicinal solution by means of distal end of catheter introduced through endotracheal tube with possibility of removal from it, wherein 2 catheters are used: the working end of each catheter is equipped with an inflatable balloon intended for the airway occlusion, the working ends of the catheters are preliminarily inserted into the right and left bronchi, their balloons are inflated to complete occlusion of bronchi, 50 ml of the solution is immediately introduced into each bronchus and holes in proximal ends of the catheters are tightly closed, and the occlusion is removed and the catheters are removed in 60 seconds.

EFFECT: invention provides prevention of death from hypoxic damage of brain cells under conditions of asphyxia.
