SUBSTANCE: invention refers to producing a complex of 6-methyluracil with pectin, which can be used in medicine and pharmaceutical industry, of formula: The presented complex compound shows anti-ulcerative activity and is effective as a primary active substance in producing new drug preparations possessing anti-ulcerative action. The method for producing the above complex involves a reaction thereof in equimolar amounts in an aqueous medium at a temperature of 60-80°C for 24 hours, water removal to prepare the product.
EFFECT: extending the range of low-toxic pharmacological preparations having high anti-ulcerative activity.
