FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for detection and measurement of cylindrical surfaces in fire-resistant ceramic details and can be used in metallurgy. For implementation of the named method the measuring pipe is used with the camera placed on it, the lens of which is directed towards at least one reflective surface located in the measuring pipe, at the same time the reflective surface passes at a distance from the lens and with inclination to the axial direction of the measuring pipe. Besides, the measuring pipe on the contour section opposite to the reflective surface is transparent, and in the measuring pipe or on it the distance measurement device is located. The camera at respective focal length between the lens and the reflective surface registers a part of the cylindrical surface of the neighbouring fire-resistant ceramic detail passing at the radial distance from the measuring pipe and by means of the device registers the distance of the point or section of the surface of part of a cylindrical surface of a fire-resistant ceramic detail to a fixed reference point registered by the camera.
EFFECT: possibility of reliable detection and measurement of cylindrical surface on fire-resistant ceramic details.
