FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: method includes installation of sensors on the pipeline, measurement by them of parameters of current state of the pipeline, determination of deviation of current parameters of the pipeline state from normal values, obtaining the pipeline state model adapted to a current state and assessment of further condition of the pipeline. Meanwhile the sensors are the distributed or quasi-distributed fibre-optical sensors located continuously along the whole length of the pipeline in the form of sections. The sensors measure in continuous mode magnetic, electric, heat and acoustic fields as current parameters of the pipeline state. Deviations of measured fields from normal values are analyzed, the pipeline sections with manifestation of deviations are revealed, the local diagnostics of the pipeline state in the indicated sites is performed. Meanwhile the revealed defect is either eliminated, or, in absence of malfunction, the pipeline state model is adapted to the current state by inclusion into the specified model of description of the revealed deviation. Also the invention relates to the system of monitoring of technical state of pipelines intended for implementation of the named method.
