SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for control of protective potential of underground metal structure. Device has a control unit, a light radiation source and a fiber-optic potential sensor connected to the fiber-optic cable. Fiber-optic potential sensor includes optical fiber, medium sensitive to electric field and taps for connection with non-polarizing comparison electrode and underground metal structure.
EFFECT: as a result, the efficiency of monitoring the protective potential of the underground structure is increased.
