FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: pipeline operational risks management method comprises a pipeline technical state monitoring through the magnetic, electric, thermal and sound fields measurement as the pipeline current state parameters. The measuring operations are provided with the help of the distributed or quasi-distributed optical-fiber sensors that are pipeline continuous lengths placed in the sections-form. As follows from the analysis of the measured fields' variations from the norm, which is added into the pipeline state model, one indicates the locations of the variances appearance on the pipeline. One carries out the local diagnostics of the pipeline in the noted locations. In case if the pipeline defect is found at the time of the local diagnostics, one adds the defect description in the pipeline state model for the detection the mentioned or similar defect at a later stage of or for the prevention of its emergence. The invention also deals with the pipeline operational risks controlling system for the purpose of the above-mentioned method.
EFFECT: deflection sensing accuracy increase.
