FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to implanted intra-lumen vascular medical devices for local delivery of therapeutic preparations or their combinations, and can be applied for prevention and treatment of stenosis or restenosis, developing, for instance, as a result of atherosclerosis, or transcutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty. Claimed device- stent, contains spiral-shaped middle section, formed by sinusoidally located bearing construction elements in alternating order. Sinusoidally located bearing elements of said section form stable spiral-shaped module, connected by means of flexible hinges. Said section contains repeated threads of bearing element, which are geometrically symmetrical with respect to themselves. Said section also contains first and second ring-like end sections, formed by sinusoidally located bearing construction elements in alternating order, connected by means of flexible hinges. Spiral-shaped middle section also contains first and second transitional sections, formed by sinusoidally located bearing construction elements in alternating order, which form variable spiral-shaped module, connected by means of flexible hinges. First and second spiral-shaped transitional sections have construction elements, located in alternating order and connecting flexible hinges, which do not possess symmetry with respect to themselves. Fist and second ring-shaped end sections are connected to spiral-shaped middle section by means of first and second spiral-shaped transitional sections, respectively. At least, one of bearing construction elements contains, at least, one reservoir. At least, in one reservoir, there is composition, containing mTOR inhibitor and biodegradable polymer, releasing mTOR inhibitor in abluminal direction.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to retard stenosis and restenosis development, as non-symmetrical and alternating sections of device provide non-uniform development of connecting tissue, as well as provide delivery of preparation or combination of preparations, which are released locally mainly in parietal or abluminal direction.
