FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical mixing of fluids, solutions, suspensions, emulsions and pastes and can be used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industries. Vessel is filled with fluid, said vessel being composed of constant-size clearance between the walls of cylindrical or spherical identical shape. Fluids are mixed at spinning of vessel in opposite directions by external drive at time-variable rpm corresponding to origination of turbulence. Vessel spinning averaged rpm is kept constant. Prepared mix is then removed while inner vessel rpm is simulated by sinusoidal dependence on time at frequency fin, its magnitude being defined by the relationship: fin > 5.5 ν/rin 2, where ν is mean viscosity of fluids, rin is inner vessel radius.
EFFECT: electric power saving.
