SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to improvement of glycaemic control in subjects, with type I and II diabetes. Claimed are: method of additional treatment to treatment with anti-glycaemic medications of subjects with type I and II diabetes, method of improving glycaemic control in subjects with type I and II diabetes and method of combined treatment of subjects with type I and II diabetes. All methods in addition to antidiabetic medication include introduction of effective quantity of diacerein or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt, monoacetylrein or rein.
EFFECT: reduction of insulin-resistance by index of glycosylated haemoglobin levels in patients, and reduction of glucose levels in blood plasma on empty stomach are provided.
