FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of C1-C4 alkyl nitrite. Claimed process includes loading of porous filler ply into reactor and forcing of oxide of nitrogen, oxygen and C1-C4 alkanol through aforesaid ply in counter flow, forward flow or mutually-transverse flow. Reactor features reaction temperature of 0 to 150°C, reaction pressure of -0.09 to 1.5 MPa at molar ratio of C1-C4 alkanol/nitrogen oxide 1-100:1 and molar ratio of nitrogen oxide/oxygen 4-50:1. Note here that said oxygen oxide is NO or mix of gases containing NO, or one or several gases selected from N2O3 and NO2. Reactor represents a rotary reactor including rotor with porous filler ply secured thereon. Invention relates also to production of C1-C4 alkyl nitrite including additional load of resin-based catalyst into reactor.
EFFECT: higher selectivity in production of C1-C4 alkyl nitrite.
