SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of obtaining oxalate by CO-gas phase method to solve, mainly, technical problem of low efficiency of application and low selectivity of nitrogen oxides or nitrous acid ethers from prior art. Method of obtaining oxalate by CO-gas phase method includes the following stages: first, sodium nitrite, water and sulfuric acid are introduced into rotating supergravitation reactor I with obtaining NO-containing output flow I; after that, NO-containing output flow II is obtained by division of output flow I; b) output flow II, containing NO, alkanol C1-C4, and oxygen are introduced into rotating supergravitation reactor II to subject to reaction of oxidising etherification with obtaining output flow II, containing alkylnitrites C1-C4, which is further divided with obtaining output flow IV, which contains alkylnitrites C1-C4; c) output flow IV, which contains alkylnitrites C1-C4 and flow of gaseous CO are introduced into coupling reactor, where they contact with Pd-containing catalysts and react with obtaining oxalate-containing output flow V, and NO-containing output flow VI; d) NO-containing output flow VI is returned to stage b) for mixing with NO-containing output flow II, and then continuation of participation in reaction, where said Pd-containing catalyst contains Pd in quantity 0.01~1 wt %, counting per weight of catalyst substrate. Therefore, method is applicable to industrial production of oxalate by CO-gas phase method.
