SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a classification method of objects contained in a batch of seeds, to a method of testing, assessment and/or preparation of seeds and the corresponding application for production of seeds that were differentiated depending on shape and size. Classification method (704) of objects (3) contained in a batch of seeds, in which characteristics of objects (3) are determined by means of at least one noninvasive method (702, 703), with that, light beam splitting method (702) is applied as at least one noninvasive method (602, 603), by means of which objects (3) are recorded three-dimensionally and during which as at least one spatial characteristic of objects (3) there determined is their spatial extent, and/or volume, and/or spatial shape, and/or quality of surface, with that, characteristics obtained by means of laser light beam splitting method (702) or by means of laser light beam splitting method (702) and at least one more noninvasive method (602, 603) are used together for description of objects (3) for their classification.
