SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular to plant growing. According to the method, sugar beet seeds are germinated using blue and green LED lighting. Sugar beet seeds are treated for 120 minutes with a working solution of an aqueous sol of hydrothermal nanosilica with a nanoparticle concentration of 0.001%, followed by sowing and 10-day germination at room temperature and moistening the seeds. Monochromatic continuous illumination by LEDs of blue light with a wavelength of 440 nm or green light with a wavelength of 525 nm is used as light sources, with the generation of low-intensity photons in the range of 6.52 - 1.44 mcmol / (м2⋅s) at the substrate level with seeds and obtaining primary microgreens.

EFFECT: method expands possibilities of using LED lighting of blue and green light in versions of low-intensity monochromatic radiation in combination with pre-sowing treatment of seeds with hydrothermal nanosilica for the selection of new plant biotypes and increasing the germination of sugar beet seeds, the productivity of its sprouts at 10-day germination with obtaining primary microgreens.
