FIELD: armaments and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: method means measurement of speed of projectiles based on fixation of the time intervals during the projectiles flight relatively two spaced-apart proximity detectors, at that design of each proximity detector is made in form of two lines of emitters and photocells located in vertical and horizontal planes, determination of coordinates of the projectiles flight based on fixation of combination of activated sensitive elements of the photocells, determination of coordinates of the projectiles hit the target based on fixation of combination of activated elements of photocell lines, determination of mathematical expectation of centre of dispersion of the projectiles, determination of rms deviation, record in memory block of speed, movement coordinates and projectiles hit the target data, characteristics of the dispersion of the projectiles; data communication via the receiver, interface device to microcomputer, determination of trajectories of the projectiles movement based on analysis of the coordinates of the projectiles flight relatively to the first and second proximity detectors, determination of relationship of characteristics of dispersion of the projectiles and their movement speeds, displaying on indicator screen of the coordinates of projectiles hit of the target, and dispersion characteristics. The information and calculation system contains two spaced-apart proximity detectors, block of projectile movement parameters determination, electronic target, signals processing unit, receiver, interface unit, microcomputer, indicator.
