FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: in an auger-centrifugal pump there is a double-shaft scheme of operation used, with a high-rpm and low-rpm stages. The auger-centrifugal pump comprises a rotor with a centrifugal wheel (1) and a booster low-rpm auger (5) with an external band (7) and a bushing (6), installed separately with a rotor. The torque to the booster auger (5) is transmitted with the help of a hydrodynamic coupling comprising a helical bushing on the front seal of the centrifugal wheel (1) and a helical thread (8) of opposite direction on the inner surface of the band (7) of the auger (5). The auger (5) is installed in sliding bearings (11-13) and has a bearing chamber (9), to which it supplies liquid with the help of the thread (8), and the liquid arrives via the hole (10) for supply to bearings (11-13). Bearings (11-13) have on the inner surface of the body (15) the inserts, onto working surfaces of which there is a combined wear-resistant anti-friction mineral coating (14), the composition of which includes minerals of natural origin.
EFFECT: improved cavitation characteristics of pumps.
