SUBSTANCE: invention refers to heat engineering and can be used in heat and mass exchangers of air cooling. Heat and mass exchange device includes heat exchange units, irrigator, fans, water accumulator, circulation pump, air distributor, and entrainment separator, where heat exchange units consist of parallel heat transfer plate elements connected in pairs and forming narrow internal duct for cooled product and wide external ducts for water and air flow, featuring profiled partitions for liquid deflection and shelves for liquid collection ensuring drip irrigation of heat transfer surface.
EFFECT: intensified heat exchange.
