FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: alloy contains in wt %: gold 75.0-78.0; palladium 5.0-12.0; indium 1.0-4.0; silver 5.0-10.0; copper - the rest. Method includes components supply in melting crucible, their melting, mixing and further pouring to moulds. First in the crucible gold is loaded and melted at natural melting temperature 900-1100°C, then to melt palladium is added, and simultaneously temperature is increased to 1600°C, mixed to create uniform alloy, then indium and silver are added keeping temperature 1600°C, and upon complete indium and silver melting copper is added.
EFFECT: production of high-karat white gold with improved hardness, strength, damage and oxidation resistance during machining and everyday wearing of jewellery.
