FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: alloy contains in wt %: gold 75.0-78.0; palladium 1.0-4.0; indium from 0.5 to 3.0; copper - rest. Method includes components supply to the melting crucible, melting, mixing and further pouring to moulds, at that first of all to the crucible gold is supplied and melted at its natural melting temperature 900-1100°C, then to the melt palladium is supplied, and simultaneously temperature is increased to 1600°C, mixed until production of the uniform alloy, then indium is supplied upon temperature 1600°C keeping, and upon indium complete melting copper is added.
EFFECT: production of high-karat pink alloy of gold with improved hardness, strength, damage and oxidation resistance during machining and everyday wearing of jewellery.
