FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: lower lid is divided into two plates - musculocutaneous and tarso-conjunctival. A deformed tarso-conjunctival plate is partially excised, and a cicatrical segment of the musculocutaneous plate is excised, too. A defect is replaced by the biomaterial "Alloplant for Blepharoplasty". The alloplant is fixed from one side to the remained portion of the tarso-conjunctival plate and to the remained conjuctiva within a posterior fornix, and from the other side - through an internal eyelid adhesion to an edge of an inner orbital wall. The remained portion of an orbicularis muscle is mobilised medially, placed above the alloplant, which is fixed to an upper edge. That is followed by skin grafting of the musculocutaneous plate by widely separating and laterally displacing the skin from the lateral portion of the same eyelid and a buccal region medially, and fixing by applying subcutaneous relaxing allotendon interrupted sutures.
EFFECT: method enables providing more effective surgical management of partial cicatrical eversion of the lower eyelid by ensuring reliable continuous fixation of the lower eyelid in the correct anatomical position.
