FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. A suture pack comprises a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is configured as a base and has an outer surface, an inner surface and a number of openings. The openings are arranged between the inner and outer surfaces. The second portion is configured as a lid and has an outer surface, an inner surface and a number of pins. The pins project from the inner surface. The suture pack has a closed configuration, wherein the inner surface of the lid is opposite the inner surface of the base. Distal ends of the pins engage the inner surface of the base in the positions displaced from the number of openings extending through the base and adjoining them. The pack comprises a pivot connecting the lid and base to open and close the suture pack. The pins for suture winding about a lock member are configured to pass through the base openings to wind at least one suture about the pins for suture winding with placing at least one suture on the base.
