FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to an electric power generating installation. The installation (1) comprises at least partially submerged devices (14, 16, 18, 20) for electric power generation. Each device (14, 16, 18, 20) comprises a rotary mechanical receiver and an alternating-current generator (22). Each device (14, 16, 18, 20) generates an alternating electric signal with variable voltage and frequency transmitted by a power transmission cable (32, 36, 38, 40) submerged at least partially. The installation comprises additionally a connecting device (34), to which the cables (32, 36, 38, 40) are connected at the input in parallel and which provides at the output a cumulative electric signal (S") with variable voltage and frequency, wherein the current amplitude is equal to the sum of input currents. The partially submerged cable (12) connects the output of the connecting device (34) with a surface power converting device (46). The device (46) is designed to convert the cumulative electric signal (S") to the alternating electric signal of a fixed frequency.
EFFECT: invention is oriented towards the development of the easy-maintainable and inexpensive power generation plant.
