FIELD: motor car construction.
SUBSTANCE: in compliance with the first version, claimed brake drive comprises the front chamber made integral with coupling flange and with brake camshaft bearing tube to enclose the drive section, brake camshaft bearing tube and coupling flange. The latter couples the brake drive front chamber with camshaft bearing tube. In compliance with the second version, this unit comprises an extra rear chamber of the brake drive secured to said front chamber. Axle assembly comprises the casing incorporating the wheel brake and composite spring brake drive set.
EFFECT: simplified production, mounting and servicing, decreased weight.
