FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to the field of railway transport, in particular to bogies of rail vehicles, as well as to rail vehicles equipped with such bogies. The bogie contains an H-shaped frame, wheelsets and a drive system. Two longitudinal box beams of the frame are welded to the two ends of the transverse beam body. Longitudinal beams of the frame and axle boxes are installed between the wheels of the wheelsets. The ends of the beams are mounted on axle boxes by means of a primary suspension device. The drive system includes a gearbox and a drive motor. The motor and gearbox, assembled as a whole, are mounted on the frame by means of an elastic suspension mechanism.
EFFECT: aerodynamic drag of the bogie is reduced.
