FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes mixing a molten oil refining product - black oil and sulphur, wherein the black oil contains cracking products. The process is carried out in steps, the first step including low-temperature sulphuration of the product via intense mixing with elementary sulphur, which is added in amount of 5-50 wt %, for 8-15 minutes at 115-120°C, after which at the second step sulphuration is carried out at a higher temperature of up to 140-270°C, while continuing to mix for 60-660 minutes, while ensuring complete transition of elementary sulphur into a chemically bound state.
EFFECT: invention improves the performance characteristics of road and roofing bitumen, lowers the cost and prevents the release of harmful gases during road surfacing.
