FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to emergency protection systems of generator halls of heat and nuclear power plants. The unit for prevention of burning and detonation of hydrogen during operation of turbine generator with hydrogen cooling as a part of power plant equipment contains the water supply system with tanks which are deaerators (1, 2) of the water circuit of power plant, feeding pipelines (3, 4) with distributing manifolds (5, 6) on which the fog flows dispensers (9) are installed. The unit contains two chambers (10, 11) for mixing of hydrogen with fog medium. The first chamber (10) is installed between the support bearing (14) of the electric generator (13) and the turbine (12). The second chamber (11) is installed between the opposite support bearing (19) and the generator activator (18). In the top part of the housing of each chamber (10, 11) the air vent is made. Distributing manifolds (5, 6) are installed in chambers (10, 11) coaxially to turbine generator shaft sections (15, 20) from the side of supporting bearings (14, 19). Output channels of dispensers (9) are oriented at sharp angle to the axis of symmetry of the shaft of the turbine generator, providing a convergence of fog flows.
EFFECT: exception at emergency response of irreversible mechanical deformations and ensuring integrity of assemblies and elements of turbine generator structure.
