FIELD: operation of power station steam-turbine plants; may be used in fire protection of power station machine room in cases of emergency fire of combustible substances used in production process. SUBSTANCE: all oil pumps are disconnected simultaneously with stopping of steam supply to turbine and disconnected of power generator from mains. Emergency freeing of generator from hydrogen is effected through pipeline whose flow section exceeds that of pipeline of displacement of hydrogen from generator under trouble-free conditions by a factor of not less than 10. Fire-extinguishing agent is used in the form of superheated water from deaerator of disconnected power plant. Superheated water is sprayed in high-hazardous zones, and remaining steam of this plant is released to machine room through atmospheric valves and turbine end seals by annulling the prohibition of steam discharge through quick-operating reduction-cooling plant to turbine condenser in case of pressure in condenser exceeding the preset level and stopping of steam suction from end seals of said turbine. Also recommended is continuous control of vibration level of bearings of steam turbine low pressure cylinders, and in case of attaining the preset value exceeding the normal level of operation of organic system of protection of the turbine and power generator by the level of vibration (with rated time delay) corresponding power plant is disconnected without time delay and with vacuum break in turbine condenser and emergency removal of hydrogen irrespective of flame detection. In case of presence of at least two power plants provided with steam turbines in one machine room, disconnected additionally is at least one power plant nearest to plant at fire. Disconnection is made with annulling of prohibition of steam release to condenser with its pressure exceeding the preset level and with vacuum break in steam turbine condenser effected by procedure indicated in the Operating Instructions of the given equipment. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl
