FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method and device to detect presence of an object subject to cleaning in a restroom. A scanning beam is sent along the restroom floor. Then a reflected beam is detected, received from the surface of the restroom - walls, or received from the object that lies on the floor of the room. Presence of the object is detected by comparison of signals received from the beam reflected from the surface - walls of the room, and the signal reflected from the object. The output signal of the object subject to cleaning is issued, which indicates that the object is available, which is subject to cleaning.
EFFECT: automatic detection of an object subject to cleaning in a restroom.
