FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to HV insulation testing. Essence of the invention: sensor (11) of partial discharges for the on-line testing device (11; 13) of HV insulation has casing (15) and measuring circuit (17) in the casing (15) to measure the partial discharges in the tested HV system (3; 5) and communication capacitor (19) having one electrode (19B) connected with the measuring circuit (17), and another electrode (19A; 41), connected with the first HV conductor (21; 43), connected with HV line (5) of the tested system. Sensor additionally has a calibration circuit (23) installed in casing (15) and containing calibration capacitor (25) with one electrode (25B), connected with the calibration circuit (23), and another electrode (25A; 41), connected with said first HV conductor (21; 43) or second HV conductor (27), connected with HV line (5).
EFFECT: possibility to calibrate the sensor under operation mode, absence of the necessity to change HV geometry in relation to the HV circuit of energy generation.
