FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: engine cylinder block head (1) comprises intake and discharge valves channels (2, 3) with valves (4, 5) extending to one side of said cylinder head and combustion chamber (6) arranged therein with displacement surfaces (11, 12). Combustion chamber (6) at the plane of cylinder head (1) abutment on the block features the shape composed of radius R arc (7), R = (0.63-0.65) of cylinder diameter D, with the centre spaced from the cylinder centre by G = (0.28-0.30) of cylinder diameter D towards the ignition plug. Arc (7) is connected by radii R1 = (0.30-0.32) of cylinder diameter D of diameter lined from the cylinder centre and equal to cylinder diameter. Chamber (6) on the opposite side is formed by diameter equal to cylinder diameter D conjugated with radii R1 = (0.30-0.32) of cylinder diameter D with centres located at axes (15) of the valves spaced from cylinder axes (16) by V = (0.06-0.08) of cylinder diameter D. Radii R1 of conjugation are confined by the line spaced from cylinder axes (16) by B = (0.35-0.37) of cylinder diameter D. Combustion chamber (6) walls are inclined to the chamber bottom and feature inclination of 14°…16° to the cylinder crosswise axis plane and transition radius of 12-14 mm. In the plane in the valves axis (15) said inclination makes 4°…6° and transition radius of 5-7 mm. Said chambers allow the smooth transition in the angle and radius over the chamber outline cross-sections.

EFFECT: reduced flow friction in the combustion chamber.
