FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry, particularly to a transgenic plant, which includes an RNAi structure having a high level of plant starch compared to a wild type plant, as well as a method for agricultural processing thereof. Also disclosed is a method of raising the level of plant starch in the plant using the RNAi structure, where the expression of the RNAi structure in the plant modifies the activity of at least one enzyme associated with starch metabolism in the plant. The invention also relates to a vector for producing a transgenic plant having a high plant starch level compared to a wild type plant, a method of producing a transgenic plant having a high plant starch level using same, as well as a method of producing animal feed by processing said plant.

EFFECT: invention provides efficient production of a plant having a high plant starch level.
