FIELD: biotechnology, microbiology, molecular biology, agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the development of transgenic plants eliciting insecticide properties. Method involves isolation of sequence of nucleic acid (variants) comprising promoter bound functionally with the first polynucleotide sequence encoding plastid transporting peptide that, in turn, is bound in the reading frame with the second polynucleotide sequence encoding the protein Cry2Ab of Bacillus thuringiensis δ-endotoxin. Expression of indicated sequence of nucleic acid in vegetable cell allows preparing the fused protein comprising amino-terminal plastid transporting peptide bound covalently with indicated δ-endotoxin protein. The fused protein acts by manner that it localizes expression of δ-endotoxin protein in subcellular organelle or subcellular compartment. Above indicated nucleic acid sequence is inserted into the plant genome and plant is regenerated from plant tissue transformed with above indicated nucleic acid sequence. Then two obtained transgenic plants are crossed to obtain the plant-offspring. The described invention provides reducing consumptions and to enhance the yield of agricultural production.
