FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control over recovery of the diesel particle filter. Said filter has suction line and discharge line and is designed for subinjection or secondary injection of definite fuel amounts into combustion chamber for increase of the engine exhaust gas temperature. Claimed DPF is arranged at said engine discharge line to operate in stepwise way. At said operating steps the engine system faulty state is revealed. In case said faulty state does not involve troubles the charge of sucked air is measured. In case said sucked air charge is acceptable claimed DPF recovery is executed.
EFFECT: reduced number of faults and frequency of filter replacement.
