SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a spirocyclic isoxazoline derivative of formula where each of Y and Z is C; each of W¹, W² and W³ is C; A together with Y and Z is a 5-member heterocyclic ring, wherein said heterocyclic ring contains 1 heteroatom selected from N and O, and wherein the ring A is optionally substituted with at least one substitute selected from oxo and C₁-C₆alkyl; each of R^1a, R^1b and R^1c is independently hydrogen, halogen or C₁-C₆haloalkyl; R³ is C₁-C₆haloalkyl; R⁴ is -C(O)R⁵; R⁵ is C₁-C₆alkyl, C₀-C₆alkylC₃-C₆cycloalkyl, C₀-C₆alkylheteroaryl, where said heteroaryl is pyrazolyl, or C₀-C₆alkylheterocycle, where said heterocycle is thietanyl; each C₁-C₆alkyl or C₀-C₆alkylC₃-C₆cycloalkyl group of R⁵ can be optionally and independently substituted with at least one substitute selected from halogen, hydroxyl, C₁-C₆haloalkyl, C₁-C₆alkyl, hydroxylC₁-C₆alkyl- and -S(O)_pR^c groups; and each C₀-C₆alkylheteroaryl or C₀-C₆alkylheterocyclic group of R⁵ can optionally be further substituted with at least one substitute selected from oxo and C₁-C₆alkyl; R^c is C₁-C₆alkyl or C₁-C₆haloalkyl; n equals 0; p equals 0, 1 or 2; and is a single or double bond; stereoisomers thereof and veterinary-acceptable salts thereof. Spirocyclic isoxazoline derivatives are used in the production of veterinary compositions having antiparasitic action against ectoparasites for treating ectoparasite infection or invasion in animals.
