FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pressing of the powder blanks under mode of self-spreading high-temperature synthesis. The device contains a container with located in it cylindrical matrix, top and bottom piercers, their work surface are located against each other making closed space, top and bottom pneumatic cylinders, that by means of rods are connected respectively with the support surfaces of the top and bottom pierces. The pneumatic cylinders are provided with individual pressurizing pneumatic systems, and are connected with each other by the main gas line. The cylindrical matrix is perforated by holes and is located in the container with cavity creation between the container wall and matrix wall, the cavity is connected with cavity of top and bottom pneumatic cylinders through the radial channel made in the container wall by means of the additional gas main with check valve. The additional gas line between the check valve and main gas line is connected with the pneumatic tank, that by means of the vacuum pump is connected with pressure receiver to accumulate the adsorbed gases and admixtures of thermal synthesis. Ratio of areas of cross-sections of the matrix and pneumatic cylinders is 1÷50.
