FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: LNG underground storage (US) is located below the grade 1 at the mark preventing frost penetration of ground surface at the longest rated storage of LNG and protected along the perimeter from ground mass with a concrete wall of the type "wall in ground" 2. It contains ferroconcrete tank 5 located on the base from the compacted ground 3 and heat-insulating layer 4. LNG US is fitted with the process mine 9 with pipelines 10, sealed hatches 11 and ladder 12, the process mine extends from the ferroconcrete tank to the ground surface 1. Top of the concrete tank is backfilled with a layer of light heat-insulating material 13. The like elements 14 with constant curvature with the mutually interfaced surfaces 15 are implemented in the form of wafer ferroconcrete blocks 16 mutually fastened inside in the tank 5 with end face internal flangings 17 and tightening threaded connections 18 through the sealing gaskets 19.
EFFECT: simplification of construction of underground storage.
