FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding consumables, and can be used for automatic welding of the reactor steels during parts manufacturing in power engineering industry. The welding wire for the automatic welding of the reactor steels contains in wt %: carbon from over 0.1 to 0.14, silicon 0.05-0.32, manganese 0.6-1.1, chrome 1.5-2.1, nickel 0.9-1.8, molybdenum 0.5-0.9, titanium 0.05-0.12, niobium 0.001-0.01, boron 0.0001-0.001, iron and admixtures are the rest. Components content complies with the following: (0.3Cr+5V+12Nb)/C≤8.5.
EFFECT: reduced critical temperature of the weld metal brittleness up to minus 15°C upon simultaneous increasing of its strength properties.
