FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: U-shaped and interrupted sutures are applied. When forming the U-shaped suture, its ends are kinked at an angle of 90°, with one end used to make a stitch of the interrupted suture. After both sutures are completed, a combined suture is formed, and the ends are tied up as one knot.
EFFECT: method enables achieving adequate homeostasis with the improved quality of approximation of skin, preventing suture cutting through and recurrent haemorrhages.
