FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: detector unit for collecting scanning data in an introscopy system includes an ionising radiation source, having a detector unit housing in which there are detector elements configured to receive ionising radiation and convert said radiation into an electrical signal, said elements being connected to analogue-to-digital converter boards, wherein the detector unit housing is in the form of a circular arc with the centre at the radiation generation point of the ionising radiation source. The detector elements lie equidistant from the radiation generation point of the ionising radiation source and are directed perpendicular to beams coming from the ionising radiation source.
EFFECT: improved quality of the radioscopic image.
