FIELD: motor car construction.

SUBSTANCE: shoulder contact section (13S) has the first crosswise groove (14A) that communicates at one end part with the major groove (12) on the side most remote from the centre in the tire width direction and does not communicate with the opposite end part with the tread end (E). Its second crosswise groove (14B) does not communicate at one end part with the major groove (12) on the side most remote from the centre in the tire width direction and communicates with the opposite end part with the tread end (E). The first crosswise groove (14A) and second crosswise groove (14B) alternate in the tire circumference so that their end parts have permissible overlap (S) in the tire width direction. Besides, knife cut (15) is composed between the other end part of the first crosswise groove (14A) and tread end (E).

EFFECT: noiseless work, better stability owing to better water removal.
