SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automotive industry. Pneumatic tire includes two longitudinal main grooves (21, 22) located in zone on one side from equatorial plane (CL) of tire as boundary, and running section (32) formed by two longitudinal main grooves (21, 22). Running section (32) includes longitudinal narrow groove (321) passing in direction along tire circumference, and sets of first ground engaging groove (322A) and second ground engaging groove (322B), passing in transverse direction of tire via longitudinal narrow groove (321). First ground engaging groove (322A) includes end section opening into edge section on one side of running section (32) and another end section that ends inside running section (32). Second ground engaging groove (322B) includes an end section opening to the edge section on the other side of running section (32), and an end section that ends inside running section (32). First ground engaging groove (322A) and the second ground engaging groove (322B) are alternately arranged in the direction along the tire circumference.

EFFECT: technical result is improved performance in driving on both snow and ice.
