FIELD: motor industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry and a tyre tread intended for snow, ice and wet roads. On surface of tyre tread there are blocks (18) located in central zone (22), tread having a width of X% (30≤X≤70) of width TW of tread contact zone with tyre equatorial line C as a center, formed elongated in tyre circumferential direction, so that ratio (S1/S2) of block sizes is not less than 1.5. At least one end of sipes (20), defined in longitudinal direction of sipes (20) made in blocks (18) is connected to longitudinal groove (14). Protrusion (30) and recess (32), which can contact interact with each other, are made on surfaces of walls of sipes, which face each other, forming sipes (20), in end in longitudinal direction of part of sipes (20), which is connected to longitudinal groove (14).
EFFECT: technical result is improved characteristics of tyre adhesion with snow-covered, icy and wet road surfaces while maintaining stability on dry road surfaces.
