SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used to locate objects. To this end, a primary phase measuring device (18) measures the phase of a first carrier and the phase of a second carrier in carrier signals received by a receiver (10) with position finding. A secondary phase measuring device (30) measures the phase of a third carrier and the phase of a fourth carrier in other carrier signals. A real-time kinematic mechanism (20) estimates a first set of integer uncertainties associated with the measured phase of the first carrier, and a second set of integer uncertainties associated with the measured phase of the second carrier. The real-time kinematic mechanism (20) estimates a third set of uncertainties associated with the measured phase of the third carrier, and a fourth set of uncertainties associated with the measured phase of the fourth carrier. A compensator (32) allows compensation for inter-channel offset in at least one of the third set of uncertainties and the fourth set of uncertainties by simulating a prediction filter (for example, 24) according to different input data or filter conditions estimated by an estimation device (26).
