FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: methods for positioning of wireless communication terminal device location are proposed. Firstly, the exact position of terminal device is received (for example, basing on the first (exact) positioning subsystem). Using one or more transmitters (for example, base stations) being a part of the second (less exact) positioning subsystem, a "predicted" value of pseudo-distance is calculated basing on the exact evaluation of terminal device position and base station location; the "measured" pseudo-distance is received; then basing on the predicted value of pseudo-distance and measured pseudo-distance, a differential correction of pseudo-distance is determined. To determine the updated position of terminal device, the measured pseudo-distances are received from the sufficient number of transmitters. Measured pseudo-distance of every base station can be corrected basing on the differential correction related to it. The updated position is determined basing on the corrected pseudo-distances of those transmitters.
EFFECT: effective application of signals of Global navigation system and ground-based signals, providing a high accuracy and availability for positioning of wireless communication terminal device.
