FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: claimed system comprises gas pressure control valve, and intake-exhaust valve. The latter allows intake at one position and exhaust at its opposite position. At intake, control system opens the gas pressure control valve while intake-exhaust valve is set to intake position. At exhaust, control system opens the gas pressure control valve while intake-exhaust valve is set to exhaust position. Control system traces the ICE pistons current position to define opening and closing moments for every valve in compliance with load at ICE. For opening of every valve, said control system sets the airflow control slide valve to position whereat air from pneumatic accumulator into the valve drive piston chamber for valve to be actuated. Fluid is fed from compensating hydraulic accumulator to the pump driven by air compressed in combustion chamber, of by fuel mix at compression stroke, or by combustion chamber at expansion of combustion products. The pump forced fluid into drive system hydraulic accumulator.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of gas exchange in the entire range of loads.
