FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reversal of internal combustion engines (ICE). This invention consists in fact that for reversal of ICE in preset direction of rotation of crankshaft control system with closed gas-distributing valve and ICE piston in upper dead point (UDP) independent of mechanical connection with ICE crank fuel feed system supplies fuel in ICE combustion chamber and ignites it with ignition plug. At that, independent of mechanical connection with ICE crank fuel feed system in ICE combustion chamber is applied, for example pneumatic, hydraulic, piezoelectric etc. after stop and piston direction change to opposite one and after combustion products expansion hydraulic drive system of two valve gas distributor provides gas exchange in internal combustion engine with specified direction of rotation of crankshaft. Two valve gas distributor consists of gas distributing valve and connected to stock inlet and outlet valves, and hydraulic accumulator is charged with fluid from compensating hydraulic accumulator.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of reverse system operation.
