SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to application of labels on conveyed vessels. This drum comprises the components that follow. Side surface suitable for band driving in contact with the label non-adhesive surface. Coaxial and concentric sleeve to centre said drum on support spindle. At least one cutting blade parallel about vertical direction arranged inside appropriate vertical slot in the drum side surface to displace radially from position pulled back inside the drum to position extending beyond the drum side surface. Fixed cam about which said drum runs and which is pressed against at least one blade makes the latter displace outward in preset angular position. Vertical seat coupled with said cam to engage with appropriate fixed locating pin arranged on drum outer side to define preset position of said cam. There are the means arranged between the blade and drum to move the former back to its pulled-back position. Besides, there are means to retain the band on drum lateral surface.
